John Lewis was a very important man in the history of the civil rights movement. He was one of the six big leaders and led the charge to Washington. Of course joining politics made sense for him and worked under the United States House of Representatives for Georgia’s 5th congressional district from the ‘80s until he passed away in 2020.

He was a very popular personality and due to his political career as well as book deals and media appearances, Lewis was able to amass a fortune of $300K.
