The “S** and the City” actress Cynthia Nixon needed to get into character for her role in the franchise and that’s how the bright red-orange hair was born. Generally, the characters in the movie were all big on taking care of their skin and doing several beauty routines, which also showed in their appearance.

Nixon’s original hairdo was naturally blonde and the redhead appearance was a big switch in her appearance but we came to love it so much that it became the mainstay. Her natural blonde look no longer represents her identity and she already gives off the usual ginger vibe.
