Chris Cornell | Toni Cornell – Student

The late great Chris Cornell gained initial fame as the frontman band of the grunge band Soundgarden. He also fronted the supergroup Audioslave and did some iconic covers as a solo artist, including Michael Jackson’s “Billy Jean” and Prince’s “Nothing Compares 2 U,” among many others.

But one of the most memorable musical experiences he had was doing a duet with his daughter Toni. The song was a cover of Bob Marley’s redemption song, and it was released before Chris’s death. Toni has since become a singer and appeared on “The Late, Late Show with James Corden” in April 2022 to cover “Nothing Compares 2 U.”
